Practicing At Home - Some Simple Activities
The pitches may be closed but you can still practice your skills!

SOLOING
- Pick ball off ground using correct pick up - Left Foot/Right Foot
- Start with 5 solo’s standing still then move around two markers 5m (5 long strides) apart
- 1mins on Left Foot & 1mins on Right Foot
- 4 steps between solo’s, if ball falls to ground pick up with left foot left solo, right foot right solo
HAND PASS AGAINST A WALL
- 1mins using Left Hand & 1mins using Right Hand
- Keep a distance of 2-3 m away from target
- Aim for a mark on the wall
CATCHING OVERHEAD
- Pick ball off ground using correct pick up - Left Foot/Right Foot
- Throw ball in air - 1mins with ball caught above head using two hands & feet on ground
- 1mins with ball caught above head using two hands & jumping off the ground
- Kick ball into air with Left foot/Right foot & catch above your head.
PUNT KICK
- Pick ball off ground using correct pick up - Left Foot/Right Foot
- 1mins on Left Foot & 1mins on Right Foot
- Keep a distance of 10m (10 long strides) away from target
- Aim for a mark on the wall
- Kick the Ball in a straight line
TIPS
- Don’t let the Ball hit the ground, if it does try again
- Ensure kick or hand pass hits a target
- Repeat the skill each day and see an improvement each day.
- Make out a day by day chart and mark off each skill as you perform it
- Try above each day for 10-15 mins , your skills will improve & when we get back you will be ready to go.
