CALLING ALL MITCHELS OVERSEAS
How many times have you been asked where you are from, and you are so proud to say, "Castlebar"?
They Straight away reply with the names of Durcan, Byrne, McHugh, Tuohy, Gibbons, and many more...
No doubt you were asked "did you play yourself?" and you'll have stories of playing, or of your brother playing,, or being brought up from school to train on the pitch now known as Josie Munnelly? Now your nephews and nieces, your grandchildren are doing the same!
You reflect on the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's in Castlebar and all those games in MacHale Park, both Mitchels & Mayo. You still fly the flags on game days.
